Scoring System:
My rating system will be based on the fabled and traditional alarm(s) of the fire service. In the fire service, an alarm is called when an incident requires a lot of manpower and apparatus (i.e.- a house fire, gas leak, large motor vehicle accident, etc.) to handle them to a safe conclusion, with our ongoing goal of saving life and property. The larger the incident, the more alarms (AKA- more people/equipment come), the more attention deserved. So, with that being said, I'll rate the restaurant experience based on a 4 (four) alarm scale as follows:
1 Alarm – Uh, oh, the Fire Dept. got delayed by train. Eat only if you HAVE to.
2 Alarm – Fire Dept. showed up and did their jobs. Sit down and order.
3 Alarm –
The very best of the Fire Dept. arrived on scene. Worthy of a detour.
4 Alarm –
Smoke Divers just showed up on scene. The Best of the Best.
