I am not, nor do I pretend to be, a professionally trained Chef. Quite the contrary, I like to consider myself a product of the Food Network generation. I’ve never had any hands-on training with a professional Chef, never taken a course from an accredited cooking school, nor worked within a professional/restaurant kitchen. Everything that I've learned, I've learned by observing other Chefs via visual media (TV, Internet, Pod casts), scouring through cook books (25+ and counting), and spending endless hours in the heat (kitchen). Through these mediums, a fire was built within me to learn as much as I can, expand my palate, and bring my family along for the ride. I hope that through this medium, I can help fan the fire within you...
